Torque limiting couplings

A torque limiting coupling is a device which protects and if necessary stops transmission, whenever there are overloads or accidental stops that can cause malfunctions and damage to the transmission.

We produce the following models:

• MULTIPLE DISC (or multidisc), best suited for oil bath or dry applications at low speed;
• WITH FRICTION LININGS, only for dry applications;
• WITH FRONT TOOTHING, for applications requiring a microswitch that indicates an overload.

All our limiting couplings are designed to adjust torque.
They can be controlled in the following ways:

• Manual
• Pneumatic
